Green Salsa Chicken Soup

Green Salsa Chicken Soup

Hello friends! I love a warm, comforting soup. Soup is so filling and my favorite recipes are the ones where I can dump-pour-heat-eat. šŸ˜‚ Thatā€™s kinda catchy (Iā€™ll use that later).

Salsa soups are an easy way to provide a powerful punch of flavor with few ingredients. Iā€™m a fan of those ā€œno-recipeā€ recipes!

Simple ingredients with a little chopping and I have myself a fast, filling lunch!

The pre-cooked grilled chicken strips package is from Target. Any green salsa will do, but this one is from Target, too.

I used reduced-sodium chicken broth since salsa is pretty high in sodium, itā€™s a good idea to use a lower sodium broth because it will increase the total amount per recipe. The organic reduced-sodium chicken broth shown in the picture is from Aldi.
