There are many varieties of a good \u2018ole egg from scrambled, hard-boiled and over-easy make a satisfying meal.\u00a0 Eggs may get a bad wrap in regards to nutrition. They may have the stigma of containing \u201ctoo much cholesterol\u201d but the science and research is very interesting.\u00a0 Yes, eggs contain higher levels of\u00a0cholesterol but when you consume dietary cholesterol, the liver actually produces less to even out the overall amount. This does vary between individuals and a\u00a0<u>study found this to be true for 70% of the individuals<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>There are many benefits to eating eggs.\u00a0 They may help raise HDL, known as good or healthy cholesterol.\u00a0Many essential nutrients are found in the yolk including choline which has been linked to building healthy cells.\u00a0 Choline is an essential nutrient for pregnant women.<\/p>\n<p>Eggs also contain powerhouse nutrients such as lutein and zeaxanthin that are extremely helpful in promoting eye health.\u00a0 These two antioxidants are found in the yolk and can prevent macular degeneration and cataracts.<\/p>\n<p>Some eggs have even been fortified with heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids.\u00a0\u00a0Double check the label on the carton to see if the eggs you buy contain omega-3\u2019s.\u00a0 The chickens are fed a rich diet of omega-3\u2019s, therefore making the eggs a good source.<\/p>\n<p>So, eggs seem pretty healthy, right?\u00a0 Yes, and they are also a filling, inexpensive and bioavailable (meaning your body readily absorbs) source of protein.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-31e0cb2 bread measures at a whopping 12 1\/2 by 9 1\/2 inches for<i>\u00a0one\u00a0<\/i>serving!\u00a0<i>(100 calories; 14 gms carbohydrates; 3 gms fiber; 9 gms protein)<\/i><\/p>\n<p>This flatbread can be
